PREPARATION

If you want to get the most out of your session, preparation beforehand is key!

Our intestines thrive when we fuel them with raw and lightly cooked plant based foods. Raw fruits and vegetables act as a broom, sweeping the dust and cobwebs out from our internal organs.

1-2 DAYS BEFORE YOUR SESSION

  • Avoid all processed foods, breads, pastas, baked goods, alcohol, tobacco, carbonated beverages, fried foods, dairy products and animal proteins.

     I know, I know. You’re thinking …. ‘What the heck can I eat then?’…..

  • Consume fresh, raw juices (we talkin’ FRESH people, no V8 or Tropicana. A great time to support your local juice bar, or make at home with a juicer- not blender!)

  • Green smoothies, salads that look like the rainbow,  lightly cooked veggies, yams and grains (if agreeable), vegetable broths and soups.

DAY OF SESSION

  • It’s highly recommended that your session be done on an empty stomach, at least 3 hours after your last meal. (The treatment will be more comfortable and effective this way)

  • Avoid liquids 1-1 1/2 hours prior to session, to avoid a full bladder.

AFTER SESSION

  • This will be intuitive. Wait at least an hour before eating. If you want to be super dedicated, stick to fresh raw veggie juices the remainder of the day. If you’re hungry, stick with the foods listed above. Go easy. Start with liquids- juice/smoothie/ broth then start adding solid food from there if you’re still hungry. It’s counterintuitive to empty your intestines just to fill them right back up with a bunch of matter! That being said, you know your body best! Eat what feels healthy and nourishing to you.

  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
